Overview

The Chromium Hook is a short “mocudramedy” directed by Jim Stanger. The story makes a nod to the American urban legend of the hook-handed murderer in a hilarious and detailed film. This project put typography forward to create an animated title sequence that sets the mood for the film. As a black and white film I felt that this was an essential component to set the mood.

My approach to the project involved more tangible processes incorporating wooden letterpress to imitate the textures and ruggedness of the film.
