Overview
The Hamilton Wayzgoose is an annual event hosted by the Hamilton Wood Type Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Wayzgoose is an event for people who share a love for letterpress, printing, typography, and design. The Wayzgoose celebrates the value of handmade craft and design that advocates for everyone’s rights.
Designing under Hamilton’s identity guidelines, I explored the handmade aesthetic through allusions to letterpress. Nametags are a key networking component of the Wayzgoose event. Here is my approach to making a typographically driven identity for the 2024 Wayzgoose event.

Hello my name is…
The name tag was designed to be engaging and playful while conveying necessary information. Each event is in cronological order and keynote speakers and instructional notes are noticable by color.
Names are printed on the front and back to mitigate the issue of lanyards constantly spinning.
